Spot Bitcoin ETFs Record $433 Million in Net Inflows

Spot Bitcoin ETFs logged $433 million in net inflows on Sept. 18 (ET), representing the net total across U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETF products for the trading day. For related coverage, see Spot Bitcoin ETFs Logged $1.918B in Net Inflows From Aug. 17 to Aug. 21.

That figure adds to a pattern of large single-day flow events this year. Earlier in August, spot Bitcoin ETFs logged $1.918 billion in net inflows across the week of Aug. 17 to Aug. 21, illustrating the scale of institutional appetite that can build over multi-day stretches. Spot Ethereum ETFs Add $144 Million on Sept. 18

Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $144 million in net inflows on the same day. The figure runs parallel to the Bitcoin ETF update, both measured on the same Eastern Time trading session.

Ethereum ETF flows have been narrowing the gap with their Bitcoin counterparts in recent weeks. In a prior weekly window, ETH ETFs pulled in $713 million against Bitcoin ETFs’ $884 million, a spread that illustrated growing parity in institutional interest between the two assets. Ethereum currently trades on spot markets tracked by CoinGecko.

Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF Flows Total $577 Million

Adding the two reported figures, spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs together attracted $577 million in net inflows on Sept. 18. Bitcoin ETFs contributed roughly 75% of that combined total, with Ethereum ETFs accounting for the remaining 25%.

Not every session ends this way. Bitcoin ETFs posted their worst day since June following the failed Clarity Act vote, a reminder that daily flow numbers can swing sharply on regulatory headlines.

With Cboe separately pursuing 3x leveraged Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs through U.S. regulators, the product landscape around these assets continues to expand. Whether Sept. 18’s combined inflow marks the start of a sustained run or a one-day spike is the question investors will be watching next.
