- Innovative C-corporation structure bypasses typical SEC processes.
- Potential market launch within weeks if approvals clear.
- Staking feature offers unique value for crypto ETFs.

REX Shares has filed on May 30, 2025, to launch Ethereum and Solana staking ETFs in the United States, utilizing a rare C-corp structure.
Indicating a shift in cryptocurrency investment, REX Shares’ filing marks an important move toward aligning traditional finance with crypto innovation.
REX Shares aims to introduce Ethereum and Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with a focus on staking, being managed by REX Advisers at a 0.75% management fee. These funds will use a C-corporation structure, uncommon in the ETF sector.
Each fund will establish a Cayman Islands subsidiary to purchase and stake spot Ethereum and Solana, enhancing the investment’s potential native rewards. Nasdaq will list these ETFs, though an official launch date is yet to be finalized.
The SEC’s acceptance for such innovative structures reflects policy shifts, indicating broader market openness. The expected initial ISS listing could catalyze further integration of digital assets in regulated markets.
Given these funds’ unique investment structure, they offer diversified opportunities for investors, potentially setting new trends. The use of expert commentary and structured filings indicates a calculated approach towards market entry.
BIG NEWS: @REXShares just filed an effective prospectus for Solana and Ethereum staking ETFs to list here in the US. Don’t know launch date but could be within the next few weeks. These are 40-act funds with a unique structure and do not go through the 19b-4 process. — James Seyffart, ETF Analyst, Bloomberg.
