Samsung Reveals Some of The First Blockchain Partners For The Galaxy S10
South Korean technology giant Samsung revealed some of the early blockchain partners for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S10. The event took place at the MWC Barcelona 2019 on Monday, January 25th.
The company went forward to present the new phone’s Blockchain Keystore to some of its most important customers. The main thing that stood out was the inclusion of the logo for Cosmee, a beauty community service dApp (decentralized application) for the Cosmochain crypto project. Another big name revealed in the event was that of Enjin, the crypto gaming platform.
Samsung did not fully or precisely disclose details of the partner services, as the company might want to wait for its phone’s launch in order to that. Be that as it may, Cosmochain has reportedly confirmed a relationship with Samsung.
According to CoinDesk Korea, the goal is to connect beauty industry companies with customers. The project aims to incentivize users to create content such as reviews. The rewards are based on Ethereum’s ERC-20 token and the official cryptocurrency of the Cosmochain, the cosmo coin or COSM. Users will, therefore, be able to save their cosmo coins directly in the Galaxy S10’s crypto wallet.
“Since last year, the blockchain team of Samsung Electronics Wireless Division has been searching for dapps that have been commercialized. As a result, Cosmochain has been selected as a partner of Galaxy S10. We did dozens of meetings to verify the model and technology. “
