Grant West Got Arrested

Grant West was arrested last year by an undercover cop while he was travelling by train. Since then he has been convicted of hacking and fraud amongst other allegations. The news of his hacking was a very important one, as it spells the first time the London Metropolitan Police will be arresting a cyber criminal. It was also reported that the police recovered about $700,000 worth of Bitcoin from him.

West has been described as a “one-man crime ring”. He has been involved in over 100 successful hacking attacks on top ranking websites.

The part the U.S. Secret Service of Delaware played in the arrest of Grant West has also been documented. The agency helped the British cops uncovered his vast wealth stored up in bitcoins.
In relation to the role the Secret Service of Delaware played in the arrest, a local news source has this to say:

“Delaware for years has been the site of large numbers of government seizures of dollars from the bank accounts of suspected criminals because so many banks keep their central servers in the First State. Now, that has expanded to include bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies”

Grant West has Hacked Several Top Ranking Websites

Grant West also known as Courvoisier, has been reported to have hacked top ranking websites such as Ladbrokes Uber, Sainsbury’s, and several others. He is well known for obtaining personal information of customers stored on the servers of these companies.

It was reported that West was able to escape the long arms of the law for his numerous crimes by storing his stolen funds in bitcoin and spreading them out into multiple wallets. Since his arrest, all important password associated with the wallets and a countless number of personal data he stole has been recovered from his laptop.
Based on a report, it was made known that Grant West must have acquired more than $2 million in Cryptos through his numerous hacks.
West has been sentenced to 10 years and eight months in jail for his criminal activities.
